This spring is so nice!!I LOVE IT!!

Have you ever wondered where winter went when the weather is so nice? I have, and it’s like having winter just do away before your very eyes. I mean, it was like winter one day, then the next day it was like 80 deg.!To weird. Now my mom has flowers everywhere that are coming up. It’s going to be a very colorful spring! when you think of spring, what do you see? Easter? Flowers everywhere and children playing? When I think of spring, I see Passover, birds singing, peeps playing and having fun, animals having fun, tall grass, slight breezes and such, and, well, anything nature has to do with spring. Of course, it depends where you live. In the USA, in the UK, in Africa, anywhere where there is no regular seasons. Are the animals giving birth? Are almost all the flowers coming up? Think about spring, and think more about what it is OTHER THAN nature. I mean watch and think about people’s reaction to nature’s thing. Some don’t smile and enjoy nature like you see on TV. Some are down-cast. Maybe they lost a loved one, or they just have no liking for spring. Ok? Now go do your thing!

“The Violet” by Jane Taylor

A pretty purple violet

Down in a green and shady bed,

A modest violet grew.
It’s stalk was bent; it hung it’s head
As if to hide from view.

And yet it was a lovely flower, Its colors bright and fair.

It might have graced a lovely bower
Instead of hiding there.

But there it was, content to bloom
In modest tints arrayed,
And there diffuse its sweet perfume
Within the silent shade.

Then let me to the valley go
This pretty flower to see,
That I may also learn to grow
In sweet humility.

Jane Taylor

This is a poem that my school book wanted me to memorize. I really like it, and my mom was thinking that I could put it on my blog with a pic of a violet. So I did. Then I thought of a play: A girl wants to go for a walk. So she goes out of her house, walks thru some woods, and comes to a large valley. In the middle she spots a purple violet. She goes to it, smells it, feels it, then goes back to her mother. Her mother is knitting and wonders what was taking so long for the girl to get home. When the girl gets home, she described the violet to her mother by saying the poem. At the end of the poem, the part that goes “Then let me to the valley go This pretty flower to see, That I may also learn to grow In sweet humility.” That part is what the mother and the girl say together.

Mrs. Merry Mack….

My mom was trying to teach this song/hand game to us. I couldn’t remember the words, so here they are: Mrs. merry mack mack mack, all dressed in black black black, with silver buttons buttons buttons, going down her back back back, she asked her mother mother mother, for fifty cents cents cents, to see the elephant elephant elephant, jump over the fence fence fence, he flew so high high high, he reached the sky sky sky, and didn’t come back back back, till the fourth of July,ly ly, he fell so hard hard hard he made a hole hole hole in her back yard yard yard. So, now I know the game and the words to the game.

My online diary

Posted February 1st, 2010 by Black cat

My blog isn’t like other blogs. My blog is like a online diary. I hope that helps to explain some things and the way I write. Oh, BTW, is anyone really looking at my blog? Or does no one like to comment on much I say. I mean, I have commented on myself to make it look like people were looking at my blog. That’s why I asked what I asked. G2G now.

My sister was wanting a pic of a “red nightingale” and this is what I came up with. It’s so very pretty: red beaked bird

Now this is a thoughtful saying.

I have a poem and old sayings about love and friends book. I was going through it and here is one that caught my eye: “Look forward, imagine what your thoughts and feelings might be as you approach the end of your days. What will be important to you then?” – Thomas Kinkade Now isn’t that something to think about? Quite good indeed, huh? Oh, here is another one that is good: “Wherever you are, it is your friends that make your world.” – William JamesĀ  That is even better than some things people say about friends. Think about those sayings and…..look more into them.. and maybe…act a little like what these sayings say.
